Sunil Sharma is an ultra-marathon runner from Himachal Pradesh known for mission-driven running tied to social causes such as girl-child education and environmental awareness. He set an Indian national benchmark in the Backyard Ultra format and was selected to represent India at the Big Dog's Backyard Ultra World Championship. His long-distance efforts include the roughly 1,480 km Delhi-to-Mumbai 'Great India Run' in 2016.
