Sucheta Deb Burman is an Indian elite ultra-marathon open-water swimmer and founder of the Open Water Swimmers' Foundation. She is certified as a swimming coach by the National Institute of Sports and the Sports Authority of India. Her swims include an 81 km swim in West Bengal's Hooghly river in 2019 and a two-way Palk Strait crossing between India and Sri Lanka, reported as a first by an Indian woman, in March 2023.
