Sahil Jindal is Managing Director of the Jindal Group, the pipes and tubes manufacturer his grandfather founded more than seventy years ago, and a third-generation entrepreneur who joined the family business in 2005. He led its move beyond steel into plastic piping, including MLC, PVC, PP silent pipe and GFRP rebar, and has since scaled operations across infrastructure, agriculture and plumbing, at home and in export markets. In his personal capacity he has also founded Trevel, a premium chauffeur-driven electric cab service built on a fleet-led model of pre-booked city rides and airport transfers rather than driver aggregation, with plans to put hundreds of EVs on the road. Between a manufacturing floor and a mobility startup he is unusually well placed on the question this season keeps returning to: what AI actually changes in a business where the product is physical.
