Rahul Agarwalla is a three-time founder turned investor whose career has tracked the evolution of the technology itself, from starting his first internet company in 1997, through building natural-language and big-data products for global enterprises, to backing the companies now being built on top of both. After exiting his big-data business he turned to investing full time, and since 2017 has funded AI-first startups; today he is Managing Partner at SenseAI Ventures, a fund built specifically for the category, where he works closely with early-stage founders on product, team and go-to-market. His perspective comes from both sides of the table: he has built companies through several technology cycles and now spends his time identifying the founders and applications likely to define the next one. He writes and speaks on AI-native business models, agentic AI, and India's emerging role in the global AI ecosystem.
